This is my first Sound Design project for an animation at CalArts. Michael Piazza is the genius behind the CG animation and I am the wizard behind the sound curtain. Many sleepless nights went into this and it was truly one of the best collaborations I have been involved with here at school.

This piece was also chosen for the 2012 CalArts Producers Show that was screened at The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Science theater on May 9, 2012

All sound fx, music, and dialog were recorded, edited, and mixed and pulled from sound banks at Orange Coast College.

This school project was my first taste of sound design. The instructor gave us 6-7 minute clips that were void of all sound. We then took those clips and did our own sound design on the clip. It may not seem like a lot but there were a lot of blood, sweat, and tears that went into this 6 minute and 21 second clip. I hope you enjoy it :)

Currently focused on doing sound for animation projects here at CalArts. This is the first blog posting but I will be using this site to keep everyone updated on projects and potential project as well as sharing things that interest me regarding what has influenced me in my own personal styles of design. I am a big animation history buff and will probably be posting a lot of obscure things but to me this is what makes a great designer :)
